Development of a cooperative community-based healthcare system.Objective is to increase the access to affordable and adequate preventive (primary) health care, as well as to hospital care, for all the inhabitants of the project villages. The health management committee is reactivated and the program is managed by the members of the committee. People are more healthy if they are capable to organize themselves in the area of health and if they prioritize their needs.
- Focus on leadership, management and structure (capacity building).
